As you can guess from its name, Floating Ruins Mod adds a variety of floating ruins and islands high in the sky. And like in Terraria, a popular video game by Re-Logic, floating islands also come with different structures and treasures. The shape of the ruins, type of mob spawners, building blocks, treasures, etc are biome-based. Or in other words, these things depend on the biome that you are currently in.
The interesting thing of Floating Ruins Mod is that its structures don’t really look like ruins. Instead, they seem like cubic, giant rectangles or squares. However, this doesn’t stop players from trying this mod. This is due to the fact that they are really interesting to explore. They even give players the feeling of neat RPG. Besides, each ruin will come with at least one spawner as well as one chest. So whenever you find one, you know that something good is going to happen.
Ruins in this mod spawn randomly. Therefore, don’t be embarrassed if there are times when you have to travel a long way to find one or when you find even four islands so close to each other. And while some biomes give players better rewards, others give them a great experience. The fact is that it can be pretty hard to get to these ruins in the very first place and to complete all the challenge. However, the rewards that this mod offers is really worth the effort. Overall, the Floating Ruins Mod is an interesting mod that brings a diversity of floating islands to Minecraft.
